Sharing the Road Safely with Large Trucks and Buses
🚌 🚛 Stay safe around large trucks and buses and remember, they maneuver differently than smaller vehicles.
- ✅ Stay out of their blind spots—if you can’t see the driver in their mirror, they likely can’t see you.
- ✅ Never cut in front of a truck, as they require more stopping distance.
- ✅ Give them room to turn and never squeeze between a turning truck and the curb.
Sharing the road responsibly helps keep everyone safe.

Work Zone Safety
Work zones require extra attention and care. Before heading out, remember:
- ⚠️ Research your route to avoid delays and detours.
- ⚠️ Stay alert and follow signs that indicate speed changes and lane shifts.
And don’t forget, when entering a work zone, watch for workers and move into the open lane early to prevent sudden merges.

Safe Speed
Speed matters when it comes to safety. Always drive within the speed limit and adjust for changing road conditions, curves and ramps. Slippery roads can increase stopping distances, so slow down when the weather takes a hazardous turn. Smart driving saves lives.
