- Analysis & Information (A&I) Online
- DataQs
- Safety and Fitness Electronic Records (SAFER) System
- Safety Measurement System (SMS)
Analysis & Information (A&I) Online
If you are arranging transportation for a group, the Passenger Carrier Safety Web Site helps you select the right vehicle and find the safest passenger carrier companies.
DataQs
DataQs allows you to request and track a review of Federal and State data issued by FMCSA that you feel may be incomplete or incorrect. The system automatically forwards your Request for Data Review (RDR) to the appropriate office for resolution and collects updates and responses for current Requests. NOTE: The sites requires registration for access to data.
Safety and Fitness Electronic Records (SAFER) System
The Company Snapshot is a free service which provides a concise record of a company's identification, size, cargo, inspection and out-of-service summary, crash data and safety rating (if any).
The Company Safety Profile (CSP) offers more safety-related information about an individual company's operation, including selected items from inspection and crash reports, and results of any reviews or enforcement actions involving the requested company. Authorized Company Officials can access the CSP report at any time through their FMCSA Portal account at no cost. All other persons should file a request with the FOIA office. Information on making a FOIA request can be found online here: https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/foia/foia-requests.
Safety Measurement System (SMS)
Search for Motor Carrier Safety Data and find out how the FMCSA uses this data to enhance safety. The SMS uses data from roadside inspections and crash reports from the last two years, and data from investigations to identify and intervene with motor carriers that pose the greatest risk to safety.
