TechCelerate Now
TechCelerate Now is a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) program, with funding and technical support from the Department’s Intelligent Transportation Systems Joint Program Office, for accelerating the adoption of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) in the commercial motor vehicle (CMV) industry.
Awarded in Fall 2023 – TechCelerate Now Phase 2
FMCSA has awarded a contract for the second phase of the TechCelerate Now Program. Toxcel received the award and has assembled a team that includes the American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC), the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI), and the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association (OOIDA). In Phase 2, the agency will continue to reengage and collaborate with key industry stakeholders.
Phase 2 will continue to expand upon the past work to expedite the adoption of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) by the trucking industry because of their demonstrated ability to reduce fatalities, injuries, and crashes.
