Student Driver

Job Title: Student Driver

Kristyn in Her Own Words: One day while driving to school, I was following a truck too closely. When the truck had to come to a quick stop due to traffic, I had to brake urgently, and it was a close call – I almost hit the back of the truck. With this experience, and experience with my grandfather who is a truck driver and drives all around the USA, and I have learned to give more space to trucks to stop because they need more time.

When I first had my permit, I was nervous of driving on high-speed roads like highways and feeling like I didn’t have full control of the car. Drivers’ education really helped me learn how to navigate different driving situations and really improved my driving skills.
