Learn More About Becoming an Our Roads, Our Safety Partner

Help create safer roads for all by getting involved with the Our Roads, Our Safety partnership program.

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) invites organizations to join in the effort to improve safety on America’s roadways by empowering road users and providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to operate safely around large trucks and buses.

Why Partner with FMCSA?

Through the Our Roads, Our Safety program, FMCSA collaborates with public and private sector entities to educate passenger vehicle drivers, commercial motor vehicle drivers, motorcyclists, bicyclists and pedestrians on how to safely co-exist as they travel our roads. Partners help spread this important safety message by using the program’s outreach materials for dissemination at events, on the web, in communities and much more.

Additionally, through the new Voices of Safety public awareness campaign, people get to hear directly from truck drivers, bus drivers, safety enforcement officers, driver’s ed instructors and many more about their own experiences on the road.

Partners will receive:

  • Acknowledgment on the Our Roads, Our Safety website
  • The Our Roads, Our Safety outreach materials, including Voices of Safety content for dissemination
  • Cross-promotion of other road safety campaigns, conferences, and initiatives led by partner organizations
  • The opportunity to convene with organizations that share the same goal of increased road safety and help shape efforts to reach that goal

Together we must act to protect our roads and our safety.
