2023 Our Roads, Our Safety® Week: Committed to Safety

It’s everyone’s responsibility to share the road safely—together, we can make a difference in reducing the number of crashes, injuries, and fatalities involving large trucks and buses.

On Thursday, May 11, 2023, FMCSA is hosting an event to share updates on the Agency’s and the industry’s commitments to roadway safety.

Attend or watch the event on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 2 p.m. EDT via Facebook to hear from FMCSA and industry leaders about specific activities and actions they are taking to help us reach zero deaths on our nation’s roadways.

Our Roads, Our Safety® Week (May 7-13, 2023) is a national, annual safety observance dedicated to educating all road users about sharing the road safely with large trucks and buses. FMCSA and the larger safety community will raise awareness and share actionable information throughout the week on improving roadway safety, directly supporting the National Roadway Safety Strategy.

Stay tuned to the Our Roads, Our Safety® Facebook page and visit ShareTheRoadSafely.gov to learn more about sharing the road safely with large trucks and buses.
