Is a social security number (SSN) or employee identification number (EIN) required to enter a driver’s violation in the Clearinghouse?

Guidance:

No. The final rule requires the driver’s commercial driver’s license (CDL) number and issuing State must be used when reporting a drug and alcohol program violation in the Clearinghouse. See 49 CFR 382.705.
