About this Study

The purpose of this project is to review the st ate of the practice for state hazardous materials (HM) transportation compliance pr ograms and to identify exemplary initiatives and programs that could serve as a model for other states to consider. Battelle collaborated with the Commercial Vehicle Safety Al liance (CVSA) to conduct this study on behalf of the Hazardous Materials Division in the Federal Motor Ca rrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
