The Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act required the FMCSA to establish an Under 21 Military CDL Pilot Program. Since then, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law tasked the agency to establish a new program, the Safe Driver Apprenticeship Pilot (SDAP) Program. The SDAP Program will expand opportunities for more drivers to enter the industry.
