Federal Register Description/Summary

FMCSA responds to public comments on its proposed revisions to guidance concerning driving a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) for personal use while off-duty, referred to as “personal conveyance.” FMCSA announces its revised guidance, which applies to all CMV drivers required to record their hours of service who are permitted by their carrier to use the vehicle for personal use.
