The first release of the new registration system WILL NOT include the issuance of Safety Registration, the elimination of MC/FF docket numbers, or changes to the current BOC-3 filing process. FMCSA will consider these changes at a later date, after receiving additional feedback from the industry.

Effective September 30, 2025, FMCSA will no longer accept paper transactions.
