Two Years of Human Truck Driving Performance Data
Two Years of Human Truck Driving Performance Data
This interactive tool provides users the ability to query event rates across two-years of data. Data were collected from August 2016 to August 2018 and represent 3.44 billion driving miles and 3,781 naturalistically observed crashes. Additional driving epochs, in the form of near-crashes and sampled behavioral observations, depict additional driver behaviors. This tool will allow transportation system developers and researchers to evaluate crash prevalence across a comprehensive set of crash-related parameters, including driver, situational, and environmental factors.
The data were provided by a driver monitoring system company, and a full data dictionary describing parameters and values is available.
