How to File a Complaint
The National Consumer Complaint Database (NCCDB) is a resource for consumers, commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers, and industry professionals to report safety violations related to the CMV industry. If you’ve experienced problems with a moving company, truck or bus company, broker, auto transporter, or other entities within the CMV industry, you can submit a complaint through this system.

Ryan Snyder

Ryan Snyder serves as Director of Governmental and Legislative Affairs for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) at the U.S. Department of Transportation. He was appointed to this role in May 2025, and advises agency senior staff on legislative affairs, Congressional relations, and policy matters affecting federal, state and local government.
Mr. Snyder has over ten years of experience in public policy and advocacy across the transportation, commercial motor vehicle, and financial services industries. He previously served in posts as a Director of Government Relations, Policy and Communications Manager, and manager for federation relations and grassroots programs across various trucking associations and organizations. Additionally, Mr. Snyder has worked with executives from the 50 state trucking associations to create education and relationship-building opportunities on Capitol Hill.
Mr. Snyder is a graduate of the University of Alabama.
