Question 9: What electronically transferred data from electronic logging devices (ELDs) will be retained by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and other authorized safety officials? 

Guidance:  FMCSA will not retain any ELD data unless there is a violation associated with the investigation or inspection.
