What is Human Trafficking?

Human trafficking is a crime that involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain labor or a commercial sex act. All commercial sex involving a minor is legally considered human trafficking, regardless of force, fraud, or coercion.

Safe Driver Apprenticeship Pilot (SDAP) Program Quarterly Updates

Overview

The Safe Driver Apprenticeship Pilot (SDAP) Program officially launched on July 26, 2022, when FMCSA began accepting applications from interested motor carriers. Data collection on apprentice drivers began in November 2022 and is slated to continue through November 2025.

Below are quarterly updates showing the number of participating motor carriers, experienced and apprentice drivers.
