A light truck is defined as a truck with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 10,000 pounds or less, including pickups, vans, truck-based station wagons, and sport utility vehicles. A large truck is defined as a truck with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) greater than 10,000 pounds. A bus is defined as any motor vehicle designed primarily to transport nine or more persons, including the driver.
