TERMINATION OF EMERGENCY

Proclamation Ending State of Emergency due to Gas Pipeline Disruption

WHEREAS, on February 10, 2023, a limited state of emergency was declared on account of the temporary shutdown of the Kinder Morgan gas pipeline in the Las Vegas Valley; and

WHEREAS, the emergency declaration was necessary to ensure that adequate fuel supplies remained available to people of Nevada and its businesses; and

WHEREAS, the issues surrounding the shutdown of the Kinder Morgan gas pipeline have been resolved, and the effects of fuel transmission to the Las Vegas Valley has been abated.

Now therefore, I, Joe Lombardo, Governor of the State of Nevada, pursuant to the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the State of Nevada and the United States, hereby end the State of Emergency, effective immediately.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Nevada to be affixed at the State Capitol in Carson City, this 14th day of February, in the year two thousand twenty-three.
