FIRST EMERGENCY ORDER
(Pursuant to Executive Order No. 21-105)
I hereby find that the Department of Transportation's timely performance of disaster response functions related to the Colonial Pipeline incident is hindered by the application of procedures imposed by statute, rule, or order.
Therefore, pursuant to the authority granted by Section 4(B) of Executive Order 21-105, I hereby suspend the effect of any statute, rule, or order, as needed to allow the establishment of alternate size and weight restrictions for divisible loads on any vehicles supporting emergency relief efforts by transporting gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, and other refined petroleum products in Florida, subject to the limitations expressed in Executive Order 21-105.
I further suspend enforcement of the registration requirements pursuant to sections 316.545(4) and 320.0715, Florida Statutes, for commercial motor vehicles that enter the State of Florida to provide gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, and any other refined petroleum products.
This order shall expire on the earlier of the expiration or rescission of Executive Order 21-105 or June 10, 2021, unless extended by me.
