Section 133 of the Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act, 2015 (Pub. L. 113-235, division K), required the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation to conduct a naturalistic study of the operational, safety, health, and fatigue impacts of the restart provisions in sections 395.3(c) and 395.3(d) of title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, on commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers.
