Virginia Issues Limited Exemption of Hours of Service for Carriers Transporting Essential Relief Supplies


Based on National Weather Service forecasts projecting a major winter storm the Governor has declared a State of Emergency seeking relieffor all carriers transporting essential emergency relief supplies, providing restoration of utilities (electricity, gas, phone, water, wastewater, and cable) and essential services deliveries (e.g., food delivery, refuse collection, feed for livestock and poultry), throughout the Commonwealth.
