Medical Examiner’s Requirement to Upload Examination Results

The functionality for certified medical examiners to submit results of CMV driver examinations into the National Registry was restored on June 22, 2018. At this time, only certified medical examiners are able to access and submit exam results. Extension of Medical Examiner’s Certification Integration final rule

Although on June 21, 2018, FMCSA published an interim final rule announcing that several provisions of the Medical Examiner’s Certification Integration final rule were extended, the provision for certified medical examiners to submit results of examinations performed by midnight (local time) of the next calendar day following the examination starting on June 22, 2018, was NOT extended.
