Prepared pursuant to section 5525 of the FAST Act, Pub. L. 114-94, the report describes the safety and enforcement impacts of sections 5520, 5521, 5522, 5523, 5524, and 7208 of the FAST Act.  Survey results and available data provide no evidence that these sections affected safety or, with one exception, enforcement. Section 5524 (Exemptions from Requirements for Certain Welding Trucks Used in Pipeline Industry) may have had minor effects on enforcement activity.
