On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) will host an in-person press conference to highlight how millions of dollars through FMCSA’s grant programs will be used to enhance roadway safety by providing CDL training to military veterans (including National Guard and Reserves) and certain family members, advancing technological capabilities, supporting state CDL programs, and more! FMCSA will be joined by partners from Linn-Benton Community College, Walla Walla Community College (WA), Klamath Community College, and local elected/community leaders.
