Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) held its 21^st Annual ART Forum on March 23, 2022. Like the previous year, the event was conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams Live rather than in conjunction with the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting.

As in previous sessions, the forum attracted a diverse crowd of industry stakeholders, safety advocates, researchers, technology companies, Government representatives, and domestic and international transportation professionals. This year, FMCSA showcased several of our safety priorities and discussed efforts to safely integrate automated driving systems into the CMV industry. Other topics included artificial intelligence and the agency’s regulatory and research agendas.
