FMCSA Issues Regional Emergency Declaration for 33 States and DC in Response to Winter Storm Damage, Heating Fuel Shortages
WASHINGTON - FMCSA has issued a REGIONAL EMERGENCY DECLARATION covering: AR, CT, DE, DC, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MD, MA, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NJ, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SD, TN, TX, VA, WV, WI and WY in response to winter storm damage and heating and other fuel shortages. This Declaration addresses the emergency conditions creating a need for immediate transportation of persons, supplies, goods, equipment, heating fuels, including propane, natural gas, and heating oil, and other fuel products, including gasoline, and provides necessary relief.
