FMCSA’s 2020 Analysis, Research, and Technology Sessions at the 99th Annual TRB Meeting

In conjunction with the 99th Annual TRB Meeting, scheduled for January 12–16, 2020, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is once again organizing its annual sessions on Agency analysis, research, and technology initiatives. The back-to-back sessions will take place on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. until noon, in Salon B at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC, located at 801 Mt. Vernon Place, NW.

FMCSA Hours of Service Proposed Rule

 

**Update: Public Comment Period Now Open Until Monday, October 21, 2019**

Under the leadership of Secretary Elaine L. Chao, the Department of Transportation has published a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) on updates to hours of service (HOS) rules to increase safety and provide additional flexibility for commercial drivers.

Las compañías que operan vehículos comerciales para transportar pasajeros o que transportan carga en el comercio interestatal deben registrarse con FMCSA y deben tener un número de USDOT.
