NAFMP Website Hosting, Operation, and Maintenance

Goal:

To fund website hosting, operation, and maintenance support for the North American Fatigue Management Program (NAFMP).

Background:

The North American Fatigue Management Program (NAFMP) is a collaborative initiative to develop a comprehensive, integrated Fatigue Management Program (FMP) for the commercial motor carrier industry. The NAFMP is designed to reduce driver fatigue through a fully interactive web-based educational and training program. The overall NAFMP instructional program is organized as a series of ten modules, each covering topics directed toward specific audiences, and available online.The NAFMP has been operational since 2013 via an interactive learning management system (LMS) at www.nafmp.org. Since then it has been available, at no cost, to drivers, motor carrier safety officers and administrators, and government safety officials.

Summary:

For this task, the contractor will complete a website conversion to a new website. The new website will have all the materials from the existing website. The contractor will host, operate, and maintain the NAFMP website for 18 months beginning January 1, 2018.

Outcomes:

Successful NAFMP website conversion, operation, and maintenance.

October 2017: Kick-off meeting and revised work plan.
November 2017: Demonstration of the new website's design and functionality; report on functionality, testing, and completion.
February 2018: Launch new NAFMP website; begin operations and maintenance.
