Page Undergoing Updates
Effective March 18, 2024, MCMIS census, inspection, and crash data reports will be available to the public to download through DOT Open Data Catalog at no cost. Then, starting May 2024, FMCSA will no longer process Motor Carrier Management Information System (MCMIS) Catalog forms requests through the MCMIS Catalog Forms.
A formal request to obtain information not included in the DOT Open Data Catalog can be submitted to the FMCSA’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) team at FOIA2@dot.gov.

FMCSA uses data filters, tailored scripts, and quality assurance checks when generating official statistics from the raw data it receives from motor carriers. The data you are receiving/purchasing are raw data, and have not been filtered or checked for accuracy.
