[ Max Field Length 8 ] This is a unique identifying number assigned to an inspection record. |
| USDOT NUMBER (DOT_NUMBER) |
[ Max Field Length 8 ] This is the USDOT number assigned by MCMIS to a census record. Each motor carrier should have only one active census number. The census number has no internal coded structure. Numbers are issued sequentially as entities are added to the system. |
| REPORT STATE (REPORT_STATE) |
[ Max Field Length 2 ] State/District/Province which uploads the inspection, usually where inspection was conducted. (See Appendix A [Opens in New Window] ) |
| REPORT NUMBER (REPORT_ NUMBER) |
[ Max Field Length 10 ] A number identifying the inspection report. Format SS########, where SS is the state abbreviation, or US for Federal inspections, followed by 8 alphanumeric. |
