Final rule; technical amendments.
The FHWA is making technical amendments to its regulations regarding physical qualifications and examinations for interstate drivers, and controlled substance and alcohol use and testing for drivers under the commercial driver's license program. The amendments are necessary to correct minor errors and to remove obsolete regulations. This final rule will clarify the agency's statutory authorities and will provide current applicable controlled substances and alcohol testing regulations.
