Truck and Bus Drivers Sharing the Road Safely

The Share the Road Safely Program was established to reduce highway fatalities by 50% in the next 10 years. As professional drivers out on the roadways, we need your help in order to make this campaign a success. There are many ways you can participate in the Share the Road Safely Program. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration wants to make the roadways safe for everyone including, pedestrians, 4-wheelers, bicyclists, and professional drivers such as you. Here are some ways you can participate in sharing the road safely.

As a truck or bus driver, you can experience tremendous stress when you are out on the road. Dealing with poor drivers, heavy traffic and long hours behind the wheel every day can put you into dangerous situations. Click here to check out safety tips to make your ride a smooth and safe one.

If you want to find out about more safety tips see our new Share the Road Safely brochure for professional drivers. This brochure offers additional safety tips to help prepare you for a safer experience out on the road.
