Subpart A-Longer Combination Vehicle (LCV) Driver-Training and Driver- Instructor Requirements-General
(a) Purpose. The purpose of this part is to establish minimum requirements for operators of longer combination vehicles (LCVs) and LCV driver-instructors.
(b) Scope. This part establishes:
(b)(1) Minimum training requirements for operators of LCVs;
(b)(2) Minimum qualification requirements for LCV driver-instructors; and
(b)(3) Procedures for determining compliance with this part by operators, instructors, training institutions, and employers.
