The CVISN Architecture Configuration Control Board (ACCB) is an advisory group of interested stakeholders.
- Vendors supporting those states
- Motor carrier industry
- FMCSA contractors
- FMCSA and FHWA ITS JPO
The primary CVISN ACCB functions are to review, analyze, discuss, and make recommendations about proposed changes to the CVISN Architecture and generic top-level design. The process is described in CVISN ACCB Change Request (CR) Process.
In recent years, the CVISN ACCB has been used as a forum for states to identify and discuss CVISN deployment issues that are not necessarily CVISN Architecture-related. States have the opportunity to clarify the problems and their impact on the states, and to document the problems for follow-up in a more appropriate venue. Two focus groups have been spun off from the CVISN ACCB to address issues of particular interest to stakeholders. These state-led groups are the E-Screening Enrollment focus group and the Proactive Data Quality/Operational Issues focus group.
Minutes from and materials presented at the monthly meetings of the CVISN ACCB are posted on the CVISN ACCB page of the CVISN Collaboration Web site. CVISN stakeholders may request changes to the CVISN Architecture by submitting a Change Request (CR) for consideration by the Board. Complete lists of CVISN Architecture CRs and SAFER CRs are also available on the CVISN Collaboration Web site.
