NIOSH has created a Sector Council to guide and develop a National Research Agenda for the health concerns of transportation workers. The sector council will develop a National Health Research Agenda for transportation workers. This cooperative research program will foster a greater understanding of medical conditions of transportation workers, as well as foster better prevention and treatment for them.
