| Assessment of North American Fatigue Management Program (NAFMP) |
| The goal of the overall research is to develop, implement, evaluate, and finalize a comprehensive, integrated, fatigue management program, applicable to the motor carrier industry, which will provide effective measures to enhance highway safety by reducing fatigued driving. The current phase (Phase III) implements the full FMP program in one U.S. and two Canadian motor carriers to determine its cost/safety effectiveness and derive information for improving the program.
