| Driver Information Resource – Phase II (Pre-employment Screening) |
| SAFETEA-LU requires FMCSA to make the data in the Driver Information Resource available to motor carriers to assist in their pre-employment screening process. The Analysis Division has taken the lead in resolving legal and logistical obstacles to meeting the specific requirements of SAFETEA-LU for this project, but the actual administration and implementation of this project may reside in another office, depending on the options available to FMCSA.
