Notes: Persons Injured includes all nonfatally injured persons in injury
and fatal crashes. A bus is defined as a motor vehicle (including school
buses, intercity buses, and transit buses) designed to carry more than
10 passengers, not including the driver. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) implemented an enhanced methodology
for estimating registered vehicles and vehicle miles traveled by vehicle type
for the years 2007-2009. As a result, involvement rates may differ, and in some
cases significantly, from previously published rates.

Administration. Injury Crashes, Vehicles Involved, and Persons Injured:

(GES).
