A&I Online Releases New NAFTA Safety Stats Module

NAFTA Safety Stats presents information and statistics on the U.S. operations of all U.S. registered interstate and HM intrastate motor carriers by national domicile of the carrier (U.S., Canada, and Mexico).

Data are available for Roadside Inspections, Compliance Reviews, Traffic Enforcements, and Crashes for 1999-2002. These reports allow users to compare safety statistics based on where a carrier is domiciled. Many of the reports also allow users to further stratify the data by selecting a particular year, domicile, and/or carrier operations type.

NAFTA Safety Stats also contains border-crossing data for 1994-2001. Data are available for both buses and trucks at the state and port of entry level. To learn more click here: http://www.ai.volpe.dot.gov/International/border.asp
