Federal Motor Carrier Safety Executive To Mark National Transportation Week at Kentucky Event

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's (FMCSA) Acting Deputy Administrator, Warren E. Hoemann, will join officials from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and the Kentucky Motor Transport Association on Wednesday, May 14, to celebrate National Transportation Week and speak about achievements in transportation and the challenges ahead.

FMCSA fosters strong relationships between industry and government that help to improve safety and security, increase transportation efficiency and spur economic growth. National Transportation Week is a time for the country to express pride in its transportation system and recognize the contributions of transportation workers. FMCSA is an agency of the U.S. Department of Transportation. Its primary mission is motor carrier safety.
