Celebrate National Transportation Week
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's (FMCSA) Acting Deputy Administrator, Warren E. Hoemann, will join FedEx executives and employees on Tuesday, May 13, to celebrate National Transportation Week and speak about achievements in transportation and the challenges ahead.
FMCSA fosters strong relationships between industry and government that help to improve safety and security, increase transportation efficiency and spur economic growth. National Transportation Week is a time for the country to express pride in its transportation system and recognize the contributions of transportation workers. FMCSA is an agency of the U.S. Department of Transportation. Its primary mission is motor carrier safety.
The event is being hosted by FedEx Freight, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp., a global provider of transportation, e-commerce and supply chain management services. FedEx is committed to safe and efficient transportation across its entire family of companies and supports the FMCSA's mission of furthering safety methods and awareness.
