Fiscal Year 2010 Commercial Driver's License Information System (CDLIS) Modernization Grant Awards

The CDLIS Modernization grant provides $8,000,000 in financial assistance to modernize the information system that exchanges licensing status and driver history records for commercial driver's license holders. The modernization efforts for which the below entities received grant funding include priorities such as: improvement of Central Site data quality (data quality); improvement of the Change State of Record process (CSOR); integration of the Medical Certificate into the CDL Driver History Record (MedCert); implementation of Federal information technology security standards (IT-Sec); and structured testing prior to final implementation of the changes (testing).
